The UBC Concrete Toboggan Team boasts a wide range of sub-teams for our members to join! We encourage all members to choose the sub-team that best aligns with their personal interests.

The braking sub-team creates and constructs the toboggan’s manual braking system.
The recently revived electronics sub-team designs and develops electronic components implemented into the overall project.
The marketing sub-team manages and produces all of the team’s marketing materials on various platforms!
The mix design sub-team produces the team’s concrete mix through trial batches and concrete analysis.
The ski design sub-team develops and constructs the molds used to cast the concrete skis.
The spirit sub-team generates the team’s annual theme. They produce spirit materials such as costumes, patches, stickers, etc.
The steering sub-team designs and constructs the toboggan’s manual steering system
The superstructure sub-team develops and assembles the toboggan’s roll cage.
The tech-ex sub-team designs the crate the toboggan will be shipped in. The crate transforms into the technical exhibition stage that the team will present at competition.
